2025 Sarnat Lecture Address

The Crown Family School hosted the 2025 Rhoda G. Sarnat Lecture: Advancing Maternal Mental Health Equity During the Critical Early Childhood Years, featuring Abby Palmer Molina, PhD, Neubauer Family Assistant Professor at the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. The lecture explored the heightened mental health challenges and parenting stress facing mothers in the United States, particularly among families of color and those experiencing economic hardship. Professor Molina examined the fragmented systems currently serving mothers and outlined innovative, holistic approaches to improve maternal, child, and family well-being during early childhood.
