Ryan Durban

Ryan Durbin joined the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice in April 2026 as a Data Liaison with the Kersten Institute for Urban Education's Consortium on School Research. In his role, he supports research partnerships through data management, documentation, and analysis that inform education research, policy, and practice. Prior to joining the Consortium on School Research, Durbin served as a Data Liaison with the University of Chicago Education Lab, where he collaborated with Chicago Public Schools and university research partners to facilitate the responsible use of data for research. He holds a Master of Science in Economics and Policy Analysis from DePaul University and brings expertise in economics, data analytics, and evidence-informed decision-making.
