Social Work Virtual Mock Class

Join us for a Virtual Mock Class led by Dr. S Simmons, Associate Instructional Professor at the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice at the University of Chicago.

During this interactive session, you’ll:

  • Participate in a live, discussion-based class that mirrors the energy and rigor of our in-person courses.
  • Hear directly from Dr. S Simmons, whose teaching and research focus on identity development, inclusion, and equity in educational and community settings.
  • Engage with current and prospective students to get a feel for the collaborative Crown learning environment.

The session will also include a brief Admissions Overview to help you understand how to approach the application process and funding opportunities at Crown.

This series is designed to give prospective students an accessible way to “test drive” the Crown curriculum — especially for those unable to visit campus in person. Whether you’re exploring the social work profession, advancing in the human services field, or considering graduate study at the University of Chicago, this session will help you envision yourself in our community.
