Before returning to the Crown Family School as a staff member of Career and Leadership Development, Robyn worked at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago’s Disability and Learning Resource Center as a Disability Specialist.
Robyn Dimaano graduated in 2015 from the School of Social Services Administration (now the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice) with a degree in the School Social Work Program of Study. As the founding school social worker at Gary Comer Middle School, Robyn had the privilege of building the campus’s social work and social-emotional learning program. During this time, she obtained her LCSW and became a Field Instructor for several schools of social work, including the Crown Family School.
In addition to her role as the Associate Director of Career and Leadership Development, Robyn is a Field Consultant for the School Social Work Program of Study.
Robyn's work includes:
- Offering career coaching to provide personalized guidance and valuable insights
- Designing and overseeing career programs such as career talks, employment information sessions, and coffee chats
- Developing tools and resources to support Career & Leadership development, career exploration, and career education
