Nan Pozios

Nan joins the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice, has extensive experience in higher education philanthropy, and, as a college alum, is no stranger to the University of Chicago.

Most recently, she served as Assistant Dean of Advancement at the University of Michigan, Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design, where she had roles of increasing responsibility in major gifts, alumni relations, and external relations. Nan created new programs and developed strategic relationships that significantly expanded philanthropic support to strengthen academic programs, research, and student success. Before her role in higher education, Nan had a career in investment banking and hedge fund consulting, including positions as Vice President at J.P. Morgan & Co. and Bear Stearns & Company.

Nan has an AB in economics from the University of Chicago and studied art history and economics at Kenyon College.
