Lauren Shirk

Lauren is experienced in graphic design, brand management, and nonprofit marketing, and has distinguished herself as a passionate storyteller and strategic designer. She received her bachelor’s degree in Art History from The Ohio State University and her master’s degree in Art Business from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London. She also completed an Adult Continuing Education course in Graphic Design from The School of the Art Institute in Chicago. She has served in various roles leading dynamic campaigns, major rebranding efforts, and multimedia projects. Lauren’s signature approach combines creative problem-solving with thoughtful collaboration. She thrives in team environments, partnering across departments to deliver compelling assets that demonstrate impact, connect with wider audiences, and tell stories that matter.

At the Crown Family School, Lauren focuses on strengthening alumni and donor engagement, supporting strategic philanthropic goals, and advancing the school’s visibility among alumni and donors. She has a passion for translating complex ideas into accessible, visually resonant communications, utilizing data-informed strategies to strengthen teams and communities.
