Jasmine Johnson, MEd

Jasmine has served as an academic advisor since earning her Master of Education in Urban Higher Education in 2022. She is committed to supporting students holistically and fostering their academic and personal success throughout their time at the University. She enjoys building meaningful relationships with students while helping them navigate both academic planning and the broader university experience. A Chicago native, she resides on the South Side, where she enjoys staying active, cooking, and learning how to crochet.

Jasmine’s work includes:

• Advising students on course selection, academic planning, and progress toward degree completion
• Supporting students in navigating program requirements, University policies, and academic milestones
• Connecting students with campus resources and providing referral to support their academic and personal well-being
• Assisting with student record management in collaboration with the Dean of Students
