Brandi Snodgras

Brandi Snodgrass serves as the Director of Neighborhood School Partnerships (NSP) at the University of Chicago's Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. She leads the University's flagship school partnership initiative, working alongside K–12 schools, community organizations, and colleagues across the University to strengthen educational opportunities for young people across Chicago's South Side.

In her role, Brandi helps coordinate partnerships and engagement efforts across University departments, connecting faculty, staff, students, and community partners around shared goals that support students and schools. Under her leadership, NSP develops collaborative partnerships that strengthen schools, expand educational opportunities, and create meaningful civic engagement experiences for University of Chicago students.

With more than 20 years of experience spanning higher education, community engagement, college access, and nonprofit leadership, Brandi is passionate about building partnerships that translate shared vision into meaningful impact. Her work focuses on connecting schools, communities, and institutions through strategic collaboration while creating equitable pathways that help students thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

For more than a decade at the University of Chicago, Brandi has helped shape one of the institution's longest-standing community engagement initiatives. She began her career with the Neighborhood Schools Program before expanding her experience through leadership roles in college access, admissions, and youth-serving nonprofit organizations. She has remained committed to supporting students at every stage of their educational journey, from K–12 through higher education.

Brandi earned a bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Missouri–Columbia and a master's degree in Communication from Northwestern University. Inspired by her mother, a CPS educator, Brandi believes in the power of education.
