Avi Vodnoy Wolf is a psychotherapist, sex therapist, and sexuality educator. He currently works in private practice providing therapy to individuals and couples, and teaches the Sexuality Across the Lifecycle course at Crown. As a trans man, his activism involves facilitating trainings to make healthcare safer and more affirming for queer and trans people. His therapeutic specialties are sex therapy, complex trauma, and emotional dysregulation. Avi was originally trained in a somatic focused therapy program and later became an EMDR therapist. His teaching integrates psychodynamic and intersectional perspectives with movement and breath techniques that re-pattern the impacts trauma has had on the nervous system.
