New Faculty this Fall Expands Expertise at the Crown Family School

We are excited to welcome Abigail Palmer Molina, PhD, LCSW, IFECMHS, PMH-C to the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice as a Neubauer Family Assistant Professor. Dr. Palmer Molina expands the School’s expertise in maternal and infant mental health, family support, and social work interventions.
Her research focuses on improving maternal mental health, particularly in underserved communities, and creating family engagement strategies to enhance early childhood development. She has led key studies on the impact of maternal depression in low-income families and has developed interventions, such as the 'Healthy Moms Healthy Kids' program, to address mental health disparities.
