On Friday, June 6, 2025, the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice proudly celebrated the Class of 2025 during its Hooding Ceremony at the historic Rockefeller Memorial Chapel. Families, friends, faculty, and staff gathered to honor graduates from the Master of Arts and Doctoral programs, recognize outstanding student and faculty achievements, and reflect on the shared commitment to social justice, equity, and leadership that defines the School’s mission.

The ceremony featured inspiring remarks from Dean Deborah Gorman-Smith and keynote reflections by William Pollak Award recipients Angela S. Garcia and Shipra Parikh.
