Career and Leadership Development at the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy and Practice presents Career Talks: Leading through Identity.
This year's speaker is alum Hina Mahmood, AM '13, the Executive Director of the Illinois Accountability Commission (IAC), Illinois Department of Human Rights. In October, Governor JB Pritzker created the IAC as an independent body charged with documenting and addressing misconduct by federal law enforcement agents operating in Illinois. The Commission will gather testimony, hold public hearings, and build a transparent public record to ensure accountability and protect the rights of Illinois residents.
Hina will share how she navigated her student experience at the Crown Family School and her career journey through an identity-focused lens. Afterwards, join us for a mixer to connect with fellow students and alumni!
All Crown alumni, students, staff, and faculty are welcome!
