2024-2025 Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Fellowship

The Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Practice & Consultation Fellowship offers a comprehensive introduction to ACT principles, practices, and case conceptualization. As mental health professionals, we often encounter challenges in being fully present for those who are struggling. By cultivating acceptance and mindfulness, ACT clinicians can foster a profoundly accepting environment where transformative change becomes possible.

This fellowship provides mental health professionals with a deep dive into the theoretical foundations of ACT and an opportunity to examine their clinical practice through a contextual behavioral lens. Participants will reflect on their personal values, goals, and challenges as both therapists and individuals, acknowledging their own moments of mindfulness lapses and value-based living. Our schedule spans from November 2024 through May 2025, ensuring ample opportunity for deep engagement and practical application of ACT principles.

Sessions will feature a mix of didactic lectures, group discussions, experiential exercises, and case consultations. Case consultation sessions allow participants to present their cases and explore interventions through an ACT perspective, enhancing their clinical skills and helping clients move towards a more fulfilling life.
