Therapist, DC Metro Therapist

During the school year, Michal works in private practice, consults at preschools, and teaches Teen Mental Health First Aid. During the summer, Michal works full-time as a mental health professional for a large sleep-away camp and lives on-site for the summer. After graduation, Michal first moved to Los Angeles and worked in public schools, earning hours towards her clinical license.

Michal then moved to D.C. and spent over eight years working for the Jewish Social Service Agency (JSSA) as a clinician. During her work with JSSA, she ran programs, therapeutic groups, and worked in a synagogue and community outreach.

Michal moved back to Los Angeles, where she taught social skills groups, started in private practice, and began working as the on-site Mental Health Professional for a large sleep-away camp. Michal moved back to DC 3 years ago. Michal is licensed in DC, Maryland, Virginia, and California, and is happy to talk with students about the clinical world in the DMV area and California.
