Suh Kyung Lee is a Ph.D. student at the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. Her research focuses on how people perceive, experience, and are influenced by the welfare state and its policies, with a specific focus on work-family policies and child care policies. In answering these questions, Suh Kyung is also interested in how structural factors like race, gender, class, and age play a role in shaping people’s attitudes, experiences, and well-being.
