Kristen Reid Salomon

As the Dean of Students, Kristen is the chief student affairs officer overseeing Admissions, Academic Advising, Career and leadership Development and serving on numerous critical committees and task forces, including Co-Chair for the Inclusion, Equity, and Diversity committee. 

She brings nearly 20 years of experience in higher education and student affairs and has provided her expertise at the Crown Family School since 2016.  Most recently, she served as Assistant Dean of Students at the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice, leading academic advising, new student orientation, and graduate initiatives. Kristen brings vast experience in Student Affairs and Student Life as she has held key roles at Northwestern, DePaul, and Roosevelt University. 

Kristen earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois-Urbana and a Master’s in Higher Education Administration from Loyola University Chicago.
