Resources

CHAS shares research, tools, and partnership opportunities to support action on climate-health inequities. We welcome collaboration with any organization working toward the same goals.

Resources for Organizations, Researchers, and Funders

Access funding opportunities, research support, and technical assistance to design, evaluate, and scale climate-health interventions. Through our micro-grants program and faculty partnership model, we connect community organizations with the research infrastructure and funding pathways they need to test and grow their work. Contact us to learn about upcoming grant opportunities and capacity-building programs.

Partner with CHAS to integrate community-based interventions into care delivery and develop sustainable implementation models. Our partnership with Cook County Health provides a replicable framework for safety-net systems seeking to build community-integrated climate-health capacity.

Collaborate on interdisciplinary, community-engaged research with direct policy relevance. CHAS coordinates faculty partnerships across the University of Chicago and partner institutions, and welcomes proposals from researchers interested in contributing to this work across disciplines.

CHAS offers a model that combines community co-governance, rigorous evaluation, and clear pathways to public financing. Investments support scalable solutions with measurable impact across health systems and communities.

Current funding priorities include:

  • Community micro-grants program and evaluation infrastructure
  • Cook County Health partnership and Medicaid financing strategy
  • Education, leadership development, and the Davis Lecture Series
