Unlock new opportunities and elevate your professional practice with the Professional Learning Opportunities at the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. Our Fellowship programs can enhance your skills and are designed for a diverse community of value-aligned learners, which equips practitioners with the skills and knowledge needed to drive change at national, local, and personal levels.

Choose from either the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Practice & Consultation Fellowship or the Contextually-Focused Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT) Fellowship, while unique in content, each fellowship offers an immersive learning experience through engaging lectures, interactive group discussions, hands-on exercises, and real-world case consultations. With cohort sizes limited to 30 participants, you’ll benefit from personalized attention and a close-knit community of professionals.

 

Deepen Your Knowledge

  • Specialized Fellowships in Clinical Practice
    • We offer nine-month post-master's fellowship programs with intensive learning experiences that prepare practitioners for advanced clinical practice on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Contextually-Focused Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT). 
  • Advanced Consultation Groups
    • We offer two three-month consultation groups that provide individualized support for C-DBT
