To & Through Project: December Data Collaborative | CPS and Civic Consulting Alliance
From May 2025 to June 2026, Chicago Public Schools, in partnership with Civic Consulting Alliance, convened a diverse working group of school leaders, teachers, counselors, partners, and central office staff to develop a middle school strategy and plan that builds upon current initiatives as a key postsecondary success commitment. The Working Group engaged approximately 280 students, educators, and administrators and conducted a comprehensive academic research review to identify core conditions across four key pillars that foster successful middle grade learners and strengthen the bridge to high school and beyond.
Join representatives from the CPS Office of College and Career Success, the Office of Teaching and Learning, and key members of the working group to provide feedback on the plan and generate ideas on criteria for the school level self-assessment and other resources that will be part of the full implementation suite to be developed by the end of the 2026-27 school year.
