Burns Memorial Fund

The Allen T. Burns Memorial Lecture was established by Florence S. Burns, as a memorial to her beloved late husband, a loyal and devoted alumnus. The funds provide lectures in the field of social service, by distinguished visiting educators or other qualified persons at the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice. 

The Burns Memorial Lecture is presented by the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice.
