The Crown Family School Climate Study

At the University of Chicago and the Crown Family School, we seek to create an environment characterized by openness, fairness, and equitable access for all students, staff, and faculty. Creating and sustaining an inclusive and equitable environment requires ongoing dialogue, critical engagement, and a systematic examination of what we are doing well and what we can improve.

Working with the School's Inclusion, Equity and Diversity Committee, we have engaged the consulting firm of Rankin & Associates to help us assess how members of our community experience the current climate at the Crown Family School through an Assessment of Learning, Living, and Working Survey. The results of the survey will be used to: 1) identify existing challenges to creating an inclusive and equitable climate for all members of the Crown Family School community, 2) reveal existing strengths, and 3) develop strategic initiatives to build on our strengths and address our areas of growth in achieving openness, fairness, and equity for all students, staff, and faculty. Your responses to this survey will inform strategic goals and initiatives to continue to enhance the Crown Family School climate, with particular focus on issues of inclusion, equity, and diversity.

Take the survey.
