35100This course is intended to provide students with a conceptual understanding of social, economic, and racial justice and different perspectives regarding how social sector leaders can help achieve those goals. It also supports skill development for fostering inclusivity. Students learn to think critically about their own identity and role in society, increasing awareness of one's own positionality, as well as how social sector organizations operate in minoritized communities. Theories of leadership are considered as well as how managers can inspire social change leadership more broadly.
