Alana Gunn has devoted her career to examining how criminal legal system involvement and intersecting experiences of stigmatization shape the health and well-being of individuals, especially women.

Haidar completed the violence prevention program of study as a social administration student. Her social work interests and experiences center on youth violence prevention and international social welfare.

Hamilton is the founder and president of L.I.F.E., a nonprofit that provides resources and opportunities for more than 15,000 youth in Chicago, Memphis, and Houston.

Hayes served as the mayor of San Jose, California, from 1975 to 1983.

Heneghan works as the director of policy for Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle, where she works to implement the office’s strategic policy plan.

Hollander-Malen spent two years working with Teach for America and volunteering at the Night Ministry in Chicago’s West Town before coming to Crown Family School for her graduate studies, where she did her second year field work at the City of Chicago’s Department of Family and Support Services.

Amy Hurd wears many hats as a social worker for the Office of the Federal Public Defender in the Eastern District of Virginia. She is assigned to all mental health cases, and serves as the point person in the office for coordinating with outside mental health experts. Amy also serves as the office’s resident expert in death penalty mitigation.

Johnson is the Executive Director of Neighbor to Family Inc., Illinois, and Co-Founder of the Cultural Enrichment Center and Johnson and Johnson Consulting-CFLS.

After graduation, Jumma became a director for AsylumWorks in Washington, D.C.. There, she is restructuring the community development and engagement program, that serves asylum seekers.
